They were also quite surprised by the Bangladeshi foreign minister shamelessly denying the atrocities on Hindus and all the leaders described it as a culmination of shamelessness.
On this occasion, the International President of the Hindu Sangharsh Samiti, Mr. Arun Upadhyay said, “First of all, I congratulate the global leader Narendra Modi for his visit to Bangladesh.

I appeal to Modi ji that he should speak on the atrocities on minorities and ethnic massacres of Hindus in bilateral talks.

There have been protests in Bangladesh over the CAA and NRC. On Citizenship Amendment Act, Amit Shah had spoken about the oppression of Hindus in Bangladesh. Bangladesh had raised a strong objection regarding this.
Bangladesh Foreign Minister Abdul Momen had said, "Those who are saying about the persecution of Hindus is non-essential and false." There are few countries all over the world where there is communal harmony like Bangladesh. We do not have any minority here. We are all equal. As a neighboring country, we hope that India will not do anything that will spoil our friendly relations. This issue has come up before us recently.
